Designer Jakob Trollback in a TED talk presents a music video that is purely directed by the music itself: not driven by a concept, nor by a desire to build an image, but purely as an expression of a great song.
The song used is “Moonlight in Glory” from David Byrne & Brian Eno’s classic album My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, remastered in 2006.
Carlos Lascano is a creative filmmaker who deals a lot with stop motion movies. Here is an example of his work with lots of effects, and a beautiful feeling. “I compose every shot in photoshop splitting footage in layers, drawing and pasting things like in a way of a “collage” or patchwork.”
Flight404 builds processing programs with moving 3D objects. In this video he simulated the movement of a flock of birds. 7 different images in an array give the motion feeling. There are 3000 flocking birds in total.
